This unique and eclectic and rustic home has many of the owners paintings and carved and painted furniture showcased throughout the home, as well as many local artists paintings, artwork, and antiques gracing the home. It also features an expansive entertaining deck to enjoy the tall pines. There's a fenced back yard for Fido.
This visually enchanting Artist's Chalet is a perfect Flagstaff retreat. The home is located in Kachina Village in a quiet cul-de-sac with 8 other homes, and 8 miles from historic downtown Flagstaff, 5 miles from west Flagstaff and 23 miles from Snowbowl skiing.
Relax on the deck in a swinging chair, or enjoy the outdoor firepit. Firepit may not be available in winter or during fire restrictions. Upstairs skylights and lots of windows provide plenty of day light and an evening star filled view.
An outdoor paradise, is surrounded by amazing hiking trails, excellent cross country skiing, world class mountain biking, and canyoneering. The red rocks of Sedona, Monument Valley, Wupatki National Monument, Painted Desert, the Arizona wine country, kayaking on the Verde river, bumping along dirt roads in the Arizona back country while discovering wildlife, alpine lakes and high desert vistas, and of course, the epic views of the Grand Canyon!
The Artist's Chalet is dog friendly with approval of the property manager. The home has a fenced in back yard that many a critter has played in. Please note that forest is a wonderful place for dogs to explore but don't under-estimate the vastness of this wilderness section.
